An ontology is a formal, shared model of the concepts in a domain and how they relate. It’s the foundation beneath every knowledge graph and digital twin.

Willow uses the open RealEstateCore ontology, expressed in the Digital Twin Definition Language (DTDL), then extends it into the largest ontology for the built world: 3,500+ models. It’s the foundation most competitors lack, and the reason Willow can scale across any building, campus, or portfolio and power a new generation of agentic AI.
