Frequently Asked Questions

Willow is the digital twin for the built world.

Willow is a global technology company, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, New York, Seattle, London and Tel Aviv.

We provide a software platform, WillowTwin™ and professional services, WillowDigital™ to accelerate digital adoption.

Our mission is to empower every person and organisation to connect with the built world in a whole new way.

Together with our employees, customers, partners and communities, we are transforming the world to be more sustainable, connected, intuitive and innovative.

Digital twins for the built world.

Notably, a digital twin is not a new innovation. Defined by the industry as “virtual replicas of physical assets,” they were first used by NASA, however have now found value in many other industries, such as aviation, oil & gas and manufacturing.

Willow is redefining the digital twin, and bringing it to the built world.

Willow’s unique capability is a digital first approach that applies to the entire lifecycle of a project.

This unique heritage and expertise is coupled with a software platform that integrates geospatial, static and live data to create a future ready, smart building or infrastructure network.

Our WillowTwin™ solution is a new standard of digital twin.

We start with industry expertise delivered through our professional services, which guide and build our digital twin.

In the era of the intelligent cloud and intelligent edge is upon us, Willow is partnering with some of the largest technology leaders, including Microsoft, to ensure your data remains secure, and in the right hands.

Willow leverages the digital twin as a gateway into an entire ecosystem of solutions – an industry first in the world of digital twins. Digital twins for the built world, as defined by Willow, are the key to the smart cities of the future.

Willow works across corporate and commercial real estate, corporate campuses, hospitality, rail, roads, aviation and social infrastructure (including hospitals and data centres).

The priority sectors include commercial and corporate real estate, as well as roads and rail.

Willow delivers a software platform, WillowTwin™ and professional services, WillowDigital™ to accelerate digital adoption.

These distinct, but related parts of our business work together to guide, build and manage the journey to smart buildings and infrastructure networks, at a project and portfolio level.

WillowTwin™ is a ground-breaking software platform that re-imagines the digital twin for the built world.

WillowTwin™ integrates, analyses and manages data at scale, delivering insights to improve performance and experience of buildings and infrastructure networks.

  • Reduced financial strain created by lack of clarity on data readiness at handover.

Validates and prepares data to empower actionable insights via the WillowTwin™.

The Twin Creator automatically tags and attributes model data through our machine-learning algorithms and smart tagging engine – from old and new systems.

A key feature of the Twin Creator is Willow’s Handover and Commissioning dashboard which creates a clear and trusted view on the status of data readiness at time of handover.

  • A single database and dashboard for the assets residing in a building or infrastructure network
  • Haystack compatibility
  • Digital restoration of equipment and sensors – legacy and new
  • Machine-learning discovery and automated digital tagging
  • Insights understood in human – not only – computational language
  • Apply common file naming conventions
  • Align equipment and sensors to geospatial data creating data context and improved insights
  • Clarity between contractor and owner on the readiness of data at handover
  • Reduction of risk resulting from misalignment of the supply chain
